The Town Hall is an old building and not wholly wheelchair friendly. The Museum though is set on the ground floor and should anybody using a wheelchair or walking aid wish to visit us, please send someone into the Museum entrance in the Council Chamber, and we will direct you to a level entry into the building to visit the Museum. Wheelchairs will be able to access the two corridors leading into the cells and will be able to stop at the cell doors to see the exhibits inside. For those with a walking aid and those unfirm on their feet, the corridor floor is uneven due to the age of the building. The doorways leading into the cells are low so please mind your heads.
